Bubblephone Ltd is currently seeking experienced C programmers. We're a small company based on the Sussex University campus in Brighton, England. The opportunity represents early entry into the development of Bubblephone's flagship product.
We write for POSIX in C99, developing primarily on NetBSD. Our C tends to be clean, well-structured and obsessively tidy. It is largely multithreaded due to requirements of the product.
We provide an implementation of the Berkeley Socket API, so there's naturally a bias towards network-related code. However, we also have a lot of other things going on behind the scenes, including dealing with grammars, lexing, and various protocol implementations.
Requirements:
If this sounds like you, please let us know.
We're also open to junior positions, if you're a recent graduate looking to gain some experience. We can help you develop your C ability to a more professional level, and give you all sorts of good habits. We can be quite flexible here since we have work for various skill levels. Let us know what you're hoping for, and we can discuss what might be appropriate.
